Tree
and
Post Office |

Christmas
Angel Tree |
For
a number of years, members of all ages at
AHUMC have looked forward to Angel Tree
time! Typically we have 125 child
angels for "adoption" and
several seniors or families, as well. The tree
appears in the Atrium on the Sunday
following Thanksgiving with members
returning the gifts to be delivered to the
selected agency for distribution
in mid-December. |

Christmas
Post Office |
The
first annual Christmas Post Office opened
for business in December 2002.
At the Post Office, members are able to "mail"
Christmas greetings to fellow church
members at a reduced rate. This allows
us to send greeting cards to those
we might not otherwise send a card to,
including simple notes of thanks for their
friendship or a job well done.
Money
received through the post office is donated
to the United Methodist Committee on
Relief (UMCOR).
