AHUMC's Pipe Organ
consists of 44 voices and 59 ranks of pipes, and was completed in 1990 by the Ross King Company of Fort Worth. The magnificent playing capability of our organ has made it among the most attractive in the city. The
two seven-foot Steinway Grand Pianos located in our choir loft make it possible to provide quality piano music at any time. |

There
is no greater joy in the world than music! By
participating in the Music Program at Arlington Heights UMC, you
may experience both the joy of music and the joy of service as
you use your talents for God's glory. Our ministry strives
to express the love of God through music. Won't you join
us as we worship God in music?
Music is a witness and an instrument. As a witness, music provides us with the context to experience and express our faith. Creating and recreating sacred music enables us to express our faith as we enhance our own faith experience. Sacred music as an instrument gives us the means through which spiritual growth, our own and that of others, can occur.
The Chancel
Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:00pm in
the Choir Room. This choir sings each week for the 8:30am
and 10:50am Worship Services. They also prepare larger
choral works three times each year for the Advent and Christmas
seasons, for Holy Week and Easter, and in early Fall as a part
of the annual Lord's Acre event. The Chancel choir sponsors
the Holly Daze Bazaar
each Fall as a fundraiser for
activities of the choir.
