Committees, Boards, and Teams ...
they help us keep the Vision alive! |

| Trustees
- facilities ministry - This group
oversees our buildings, grounds,
improvements, and the physical church
holdings. They meet monthly. |
|
|
| Endowment
Committee - stewards and
facilitators to oversee and manage the
permanent funds, investments, foundations,
and trusts that belong to the
church. They also deal with the
disbursement of funds and/or interest from
these accounts; promote bequests and
living memorials from their estates.
This committee has quarterly meetings |

|
| Finance
Committee - responsible for the
financial ministry of the church,
including budget guidelines and
management. They meet monthly. |
|
|
| Nominations
Committee - considers and
nominates specific people to fill
vacancies in ministries and teams that are
then presented and approved at church
conference. They meet in the Fall. |
|
|
| Staff-Parish
Relations Committee - human
resources ministry of our church involved
in staff, policies, and other personnel
needs. They meet monthly. |
|
|
| Stewardship
Committee - fundraising, pledge
drive, and education of being good
stewards to facilitate the needs requested
by all ministries through the church
budget and other financial avenues.
They meet monthly, or as required. |
|
|
| Membership
Care Team - creating connections
and events with the members of faith
together and the continued education to
new members about their new church home. |
|
|
| Committee
on Records & History - serves
for the preservation and maintenance of
the history of our church for now and
years to come. |
|
|
| Adult
Ministry - geared for the adult
population and membership of our
church. Social functions and
activities are part of this ministry's
planning schedule. |
|
|
| Single
Adults Ministry
- ministry and
activities for the non-married members and
their families in social and educational
groups. |
|
|
|
Young
Adults Ministry -
ministering to the special
needs of the college age young
adult; social events; campus
outreach. |
|
|
| Outreach
Team - including Evangelism,
Missions, Communications, and other
committees that plan events to reach out
to our community, outside of the
membership, and bring them into the church
and it's various ministries. This
team meets monthly. |
|
|
| Scouting
Representative - liaison
between the church and the Scout Troop we
sponsor. |
|
|
| Mission
Committee - encouraging members to
participate in hands-on activities,
collections for area agencies, and reach
out to others through volunteer
opportunities in the name of Jesus
Christ. They meet every other month. |
|
|
| Worship
Team - plan, evaluate, and
implement the many varied worship services
and programs of our church including
special focus during specific seasonal and
liturgical times of the Christian
calendar. |
|
|
| Audio-Visual
Team - the placement, care,
operating, and maintenance of any visual,
sound, electronic, video, and technical
equipment and technology requested and
needed for the recording, amplifying, and
enhancing worship services, programs, and
special events. |
|
|
| Youth
Ministry Team - assist with the
ongoing and growing ministry to our Junior
and Senior High School students under the
leadership of our Youth Director, through
study, education, activities and events. |
|
|
| Haupt
PreSchool Board - the governing
body and decision makers that guide and
assist in the day-to-day operations of the
church sponsored public pre-school.
They meet monthly. |
|
|
| Children's
Ministry Team - on going ministry
to our membership of children for the ages
of nursery through pre-junior high,
including such events as Vacation Bible
School and Advent Camp. This team
meets monthly. |
|
|
| Senior Adult Ministry (S.A.M.)
- the
ongoing ministry of the membership of the
church in the senior adult age group of
55+, through social, educational programs
that include trips, seminars, and
dances. The Team meets every other
month. |
|
|
| Discipleship
Council - members consist of
chairs of all committees, boards, and
teams. They meet quarterly. |
